Based on the Magician Tarot card, harnessing the power of the univers and channeling it into the Earth.

Commission poster design for Old Poison, speakeasy craft distillery based in Edinburgh.

The brief was set to the Greek legend of Parthenope, thedaughter of the God Achelous and the Muse Terpsichore. She cast herself into the sea and drowned once her songs failed to entice Odysseus. Her body washed ashore Naples, on the island of Megaride, where the Castel dell'Ovo is now located. When people from the city of Cumae settled there, they named their city Parthenope in her honour. Roman myth tells a different version of the tale, in which a centaur called Vesuvius was enamoured with Parthenope. In jelousy, Zeus turned the centaur into a volcano and Parthenope into the city of Naples. Thwarted in his desire, Vesuvius's anger is manifested in the mountains frequent eruptions.

Hosted by myself at Darkroom Espresso, Swindon. The aim of this event was to provide a platform for and to promote local independent artists and makers this Christmas. The poster design was also used for limited edition Christmas cards and tote bags, printed by myself at the Monster Press studio.

Commission piece for clothing brand Loyalty and Devotion.  

Based on Chinese folklore, in which there's an alchemist hare that lives in the moon and grinds the elixir of immortality in his mortar and pestle. 

Based on the legend of Norse God, Fenrir. Highlights of his story depicted in this image include his connection with the night sky, the circumstances in which he became chained and Fenrir's revenge once he broke free, the death of Odin and Fenrir's own death.

Based on the Egyptian God Apophis, who each day devours the sun and by doing so creates the night.
